Boudiche is a lingerie boutique in the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland. It's not coming from an 'online only' warehouse, but a luxurious boudoir style, boutique.... here's how Boudiche began.

The Boudiche Story...
Like the best ideas, the Boudiche concept started with a cocktail - a Lemongrass Martini to be precise. The brainchild of boutique founders, Clare Thommen and Fiona McLean, the boudoir style boutique offers the finest lingerie sourced from around the world, answering the prayers of women desperate for high-quality designer lingerie that is undeniably glamorous, and most importantly wearable.

Boudiche opened its doors in the heart of Edinburgh in 2005, and with every piece of lingerie hand chosen by Clare & Fiona, only the most gorgeous and fabulous fitting make it into the Boudiche boutique. Staying true to the original concept of offering impeccable service, the small team of trained bra fitters ensure all of the lingerie available from Boudiche, fits, feels and looks fantastically. We spend all day fitting bras, and know what women love.

The Boutique
The Edinburgh boutique is a luxurious boudoir styled haven, complete with crystal chandeliers, gilt mirrors, a quirky fireplace adorned with silk negligees, and antique church bells in each fitting room to ring for assistance. One is 'ding' and one is 'dong'. So we know which one's ringing for help. If you don't believe us come in and try them.

A visit to Boudiche is all about the experience. It's all about glamour, indulgence, and making lingerie shopping fun. We don't have any intimidating sales staff, just Fiona, Clare, Sarah, Susie, Cai, Alice, Fifi and some Saturdays Nicki who want to help and bring a bit of sparkle to  your day.

The Boudiche Experience
Encouraging customers to relax in the sumptuous boudoir style surroundings, you can browse our collections and take advantage of our unique fitting service to find the most gorgeous lingerie. Our spacious, velvet draped fitting rooms offer a comforting environment in which to try on the exquisite range of lingerie, loungewear, corsets and accessories. And the best part - we bring it all to you in the fitting room, and offer advice on finding the perfect fit. To complete your visit we then tissue wrap your purchases and present them in a luxury ribbon tied bag or gift box. The perfect shopping experience. ...

Larger Cup Size Lingerie
Boudiche believe that gorgeous, feel good lingerie doesn't mean stopping our range at a D cup size. We have a fabulous range of stunning lingerie and swimwear for the larger cup size to a GG cup, and seek out only the prettiest styles available. We are always looking for low cut balcony styles, delicate straps that don't resemble boulder holders, but do offer a perfect fit.  One of our boutique fitters is a 34G and she is the first in the queue to review larger size collections as they arrive.  And yes - 30" back sizes do exist, and we stock lots of them.  When you visit the boutique, ask for your 'size box' and you can see exactly what we have in your size.

And customers from around the world visit Boudiche when in Edinburgh, since we have been featured in various French, German and Dutch tourist guides, as well as British Midland's in-flight magazine as a Romantic destination to visit when in Edinburgh. Scottish Style Awards 2007 - Most Stylish Boutique.. Judging in October 2007

Drapers Awards 2007 - Finalist in the 'Best Lingerie Retailer' category (UK wide, of all independent lingerie retailers, department stores and online retailers). We made the final 3 last year and lost out by one vote to Marks and Spencers, fingers crossed this year...

Scottish Fashion Awards 2007 - Boudiche Finalists in the 'Best Retailer' category, it was won this year by our friends at Schuh so big congratulations to Colin & the team, we think they're great.

Natwest Startups 2007 - Retailer of the Year. The girls are away down to London at the end of October for the big awards lunch, wish us luck!
